There are many recipes where you can make hot 'Proats, where you can add ingredients such as egg whites or protein powder as the protein source, or, there are cold Proats recipes where with greek yoghurt is often used as the protein source.
Here is a base recipe for overnight chilled PROATS. This recipe allows you the flexibility to add extra ingredients if desired when served.


  • 1/4 Oats
  • 1 scoop of Protein Powder
  • 1/2 Greek Yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup liquid of your choice (Water, milk, almond milk etc)

** This is a smaller serving, but of course you could double the mixture if you have a higher need or room for extra calories

How To Make

Literally mix all the ingredients together and leave to set in the fridge over night. In the morning, consume and enjoy! Feel free to add extra topping on top when serving... e.g. nuts, nut butters, chia seeds, sugar free maple syrup, fruits, Poptarts, cereals etc... be creative!
