Brownie

Are you a chocoholic?

However, there is one little problem....

You are a fitness fanatic who is weight and calorie conscious...

Well, we can assure you, there is no need to fear! 

How does a macro controlled, 1 minute cooking time, high protein brownie sound? 

Sounds pretty fabulous to us! 

Here is the recipe and how to make...

Ingredients

  • 1 Scoop of your preferred Protein Powder (at least 30grams)
  • 1 TBSP of Coconut Flour
  • 2 TBSP of a Natural Sweetener (this can always be optional!)
  • 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
  • 1 TBSP of dark Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Egg or 1/4 cup of egg whites or 1 flax egg
  • 1/4 cup of your preferred Milk
  • 1/4 cup of peanut butter or chocolate chips (optional!)

How to Make

Microwave 

  1. Lightly spray or grease a bowl or mug with olive oil or butter
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together - protein powder, coconut flour, baking powder, granulated sweetener and cocoa powder.
  3. In another bowl, combine all the wet ingredients together - egg and milk.
  4. Now it is time to combine! Pour the wet mixture in into the dry mixture. Mix until smooth and combined. If desired, mix in your chocolate chips or peanut butter chips.
  5. Pour your mixture into you bowl or mug and microwave for 1 minute (60 seconds). Remove and enjoy!

Oven 

  1. If you don't have a microwave, here is how to bake in the oven.
  2. Pour your batter into a lightly sprayed or greased oven proof dish. 
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 180 degrees (356 fahrenheit) or until it reaches your desired consistency.

Macronutrients 

Here are the macronutrients for a brownie mixture containing the following ingredients:

  • 1 Scoop of chocolate Rule 1 Protein
  • 1 TBSP of Coconut Flour
  • 2 packets of Naturals 100% Natural Sweetener with Stevia 
  • 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
  • 1 TBSP of dark Chocolate Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup of egg whites
  • 1/4 cup of Almond Milk
  • 1 TBSP of Reece's Peanut Butter Chips

Calories | 276

Protein | 37g

Fats |7g

Carbohydrates | 18g
