wWe quite often have moments when dieting and eating clean where we just need to scratch the itch of the most insatiable craving...
Here's my secret...
Super lean protein pancakes
-1 SCOOP PROTEIN/CASEIN
-15G CRUSHED WALNUTS
-100G FROZEN BLUEBERRIES
-1 TABLESPOON PYSLLIUM HUSK
*ADD WATER UNTIL DESIRED CONSISTENCY
*ADD 1 TSP COCONUT OIL TO PAN, COOK ON LOW HEAT.
-ADD 2-3 TABLESPOONS SUGAR-FREE MAPLE SYRUP ON TOP.
Put all ingredients in a blender, Psyllium Husk will absorb fluid over the course of a few minutes so let it sit after mixing and it will thicken, then place in pan and fry it up.
If you are using casein keep in mind this is a slow digesting protein so it works really well for the last meal of the night so that your body will continue to digest as you sleep and reduce the effects of the fasting cycle (ie: no more waking up starving)
Keep in mind Psyllium Husk is a dietary fibre also so it helps with digestion and gets everything moving :)
